Forget It!
Iconstorm designs this year’s poster for the fourth annual St Bride Library Conference in London. Iconstorm, the Frankfurt agency for Markentechnik, creates the poster for the St Bride Library Conference with „Temporary Type” as this year’s motto.
The renowned Londoner St Bride Library has its focus on Temporary Type for its fourth annual conference. Typography for the instant and for ephemeral information will be presented there: Careless overlooked things, over-painted graffiti, disposable packages. Temporary type is work that has knowingly been created without longevity, which simply serves the moment. The motif of the poster points out the central conflict communication has to undergo nowadays. On the one hand the attempt to get maximal attention, on the other hand the brain’s first reaction to repress as much as possible. The poster brings a paradoxal situation as central theme: The warning signal is at the same time the clear instruction.
This project is the first result of the cooperation with the english company typevents and underlines Iconstorm’s approach in good typography.
